Reclaiming Peace: Lessons from Burnout and the Power of Sound Healing

Image
From Burnout to Balance: Reconnecting with Yourself Through Spiritual Practice There’s a moment in every busy woman’s life when she realizes she’s been running on autopilot — giving to everyone and everything except herself. I’ve been there. Between real estate clients, show recordings, and just trying to keep up with the pace of Miami, it’s easy to lose sight of what balance really means. That’s why my conversation with Lauren K. Alexander , founder of Embodied Moments , resonated so deeply. Lauren’s journey from corporate burnout to embodied healing reminded me that balance isn’t something we find — it’s something we build, breath by breath. When Lauren spoke about her turning point, she described it as a moment of surrender. She had been living in constant “doing” mode, chasing productivity while ignoring what her body had been whispering all along: slow down. That whisper became louder until she finally listened. Through that stillness, she discovered practices that recon...

That Perfect Listing Might Be Too Perfect: What Homebuyers Should Know About AI-Enhanced Real Estate Photos

Image
By Andreana Jackson, Realtor® Summary of the Article According to CNBC’s recent article by Beth Braverman, “That perfect-looking house for sale may have an owner using AI to virtually enhance the listing” (published October 9, 2025), artificial intelligence is increasingly being used to “virtually enhance” real estate photos. Homeowners and agents are using AI tools to digitally upgrade a property’s look — greening lawns, changing façades, or adding sleek, modern furniture. What used to cost up to $100,000 in real renovations can now be done in seconds with AI software. This process, known as virtual staging , helps listings appear more appealing online, but it raises concerns about transparency . While virtual staging can help buyers imagine the potential of a home, the issue arises when AI images are not clearly labeled. Many MLS systems require disclosure when images are digitally altered, but rules vary by region — and not all listings make it obvious. The result? Buyers may ...

Featuring Commissioner Rachel Friedland and Former Commissioner Luz Weinberg of the City of Aventura Published on: October 2025 By: Andreana Jackson Finding Purpose in Public Service Both Rachel and Luz came to public service in different ways—but with the same heart for helping others. Luz began her journey in 2004, balancing a demanding forensic psychology career, three young children, and college studies at FIU, all while campaigning for City Commission in Aventura. She won her first election with 62% of the vote and went on to serve nearly a decade. “I did it all with three kids in tow,” Luz shared. “But no woman—no person—has it all figured out. Something always has to give. You miss rehearsals, you miss games, but you find ways to make up for it. You balance as best as you can.” Rachel’s path began through community service. A successful attorney and mother of four, her entry into politics came after the tragic passing of her husband. That moment reshaped her purpose....

Sunday on the Water: Finding Balance on the Intracoastal

Image
Sunday on the Water: Finding Balance on the Intracoastal There’s something special about Sundays. They hold a quieter energy — a natural pause before the week begins again. For me, that pause often happens on the water. Cruising along the Intracoastal Waterway, with the hum of the boat beneath me and sunlight dancing on the waves, it feels like the world slows down just enough for me to breathe. The Intracoastal has its own rhythm — gentle, steady, almost like the body’s pulse when it finally relaxes. As we glide past Oleta River State Park, I love watching people fishing along the shoreline, families gathered by the water, and friends soaking in the Sunday sunshine. There’s something grounding about witnessing others find joy in simple moments — it reminds me that balance can look different for everyone. Then come the mega yachts , gliding by like floating cities, each one a glimpse into another world. Instead of envy, I feel awe — a deep appreciation for being able to see Miami f...

Miami Real Estate 2025: Crash or Correction?

Image
Is Miami’s Housing Market on the Brink or Just Resetting? As a local realtor who has worked in the Miami market for the past decade, I’ve seen this city’s real estate cycle through booms, corrections, and rebounds. That’s why the latest round of headlines calling Miami the next housing bubble caught my attention. UBS Global Wealth Management recently named Miami the most at-risk market in the U.S. , warning of unsustainable growth, mass delistings, and a sharp slowdown in sales activity (McLendon, 2025). By September, Miami had officially become the strongest buyer’s market in the nation, with homes lingering on the market much longer than the U.S. median. UBS’s Global Real Estate Bubble Index went even further, ranking Miami as the most overvalued housing market in the world . The report highlights a worrying fact: Miami’s price-to-rent ratio is now more extreme than during the 2006 housing bubble. Add in soaring insurance premiums, costly condo assessments, and regulatory c...
